COURSE DURATION 16 hours
PREREQUISITES -Successfully complete and receive a course completion certificate for a lead-based paint inspector training course -Bachelors degree and 1 year experience in related field, OR -Associates degree and 2 years experience in a related field, OR -High School/GED and 3 years experience in related field -Certification as an industrial hygienist, professional engineer, or registered architect, or certification in a related engineering, health, or environmental field, including a safety professional and environmental scientist
ACCREDITING BODY Kansas Department of Health and Environment
INDIVIDUAL APP REQUIREMENTS $300 initial, $150 recertification fee
INDIVIDUAL EXAM FEES Third party exam. $50 for each attempt.
COMPANY APP REQUIREMENTS $500 for two years
REFRESHER TRAINING All licenses must be renewed every 2 years by successfully completing refresher training
RECIPROCITY $300 Certification by reciprocity
